Group names existing members for two board positions.
The Internet Commerce Association (ICA), which represents the interests of domain name owners, has announced two changes to its board of directors.
Nat Cohen, a long-time board member and active domain investor, has been elected president of the organization.
He succeeds Jeremiah Johnston, who recently departed his role as General Counsel at ICA member Sedo.
Joining Cohen in ICA’s officer ranks, Ryan McKegney — CEO of DomainAgents, a service that facilitates domain acquisitions for end users — has been named vice president.
These appointments reflect the ICA’s ongoing commitment to advocate for domain owners and to bring experienced industry perspectives to its leadership.
Cohen, McKegney and ICA executive director Kamila Sekiewicz are scheduled to appear together on the Domain Name Wire Podcast next week to discuss the leadership transition and the association’s priorities.
The ICA continues to focus on policy, education and member services that support a healthy marketplace for domain names and the people and businesses that rely on them.
