Appears to be working on Casa.com — Amazon’s Quidsi

Quidsi’s latest store is likely Casa.com.

Amazon.com’s Quidsi, which runs Diapers.com, Soap.com, Wag.com, and YoYo.com, appears to be working on something fresh: Casa.com.

The domain name was just transferred to Amazon.com following being protected by whois privacy for years.

If you visit the domain you get a message:

You have reached an invalid location. Maybe you are looking for http://www.diapers.com, http://www.soap.com, http://www.beautybar.com, http://www.wag.com …

The nameservers on the site just changed today as well, from BlueHost.com to NETRIPLEX.COM. Netriplex.com hosts Quidsi’s other stores.

Another clue: a LinkedIn profile that shows someone as “Merchandising Associate for Casa.com at Quidsi Inc.”

So what will Casa.com be? Based on the firm’s other sites, my guess is either a home furnishings or home accessories site.
