AMC gets GeekingOut.com for fresh TV show (and other end user domain name sales)
Entertainment firm among many businesses that bought domain names the prior week.
AMC will soon air a late-night talk show called Geeking Out, hosted by Kevin Smith and Greg Grunberg. The firm just spent $5,000 to get the corresponding domain name.
Other end user buyers at Sedo over the past week include a music firm picking up Vinyl.tv, a marketing group shortening its .US domain name and a home audio firm picking up HangMyTV.com.

Vinyl.tv €5,000 – Edel AG, a music marketing and products firm.
HR-Software.de €2,600 – HR software firm proSoft GmbH. Germans still love those hyphens.
DocFinder.co.uk $2,400 – DocFinder GmbH, a doctor locator and appointment setting service that uses the domain name DocFinder.at.
Zegna.nz EUR€2,000 – Italian luxury fashion firm Zegna.
Outgo.com $7,000 – The domain is registered to Outgo Network, and the whois email address is for web development firm Air.media.
Ed.ai $2,000 – College Factual helps people figure out the best college education and ROI. I love the concept. I imagine this domain is short for “education artificial intelligence”.
GeekingOut.com $5,000 – AMC Network Entertainment bought this for its fresh talk show
SPREC.com $6,500 – S&P Real Estate Corp in Surrey, British Columbia.
StealthMedia.com $2,500 – Stealth Interactive Media Inc, and interactive marketing agency that uses the domain name StealthInteractive.ca.
ShoreFunding.com $2,250 – Shore Funding Ltd, an equipment financing firm that uses the domain name ShortFundingLtd.com.
Switch.us $6,000 – Marketing firm Switch upgraded from TheSwitch.us.
IntegrityMortgage.com $2,888 – Integrity Mortgage of Middleton, Wisconsin dropped the hyphen from Integrity-Mortgage.com.
HangMyTV.com $6,900 – Home audio firm Connected Living will hang your TV, and now they have the domain name to prove it. It by now owns www.hangmytv.com.au and is forwarding this fresh domain to it.
SuperSilver.com $4,000 – Super Silver is a silver jewelry firm in Santa Cruz, California.
BePay.com $5,100 – Online billing firm BePay, which uses the domain Bepay.com.br. It is forwarding the .com to its .com.br address.
Azyan.com $7,500 – Azyan is a distribution firm in Kuwait.
