XZ.com meet reserves, will sell in Heritage Auctions domain name auction tonight — Animation.com and

Two six figure sales by now for domain name auction taking place tonight.

Heritage AuctionsThe official live auction for Heritage Auctions’ domain name auction, the first ever domain auction by a major auction house, is tonight in Fresh York City.

But early internet bidding has by now guaranteed a couple notable sales.

Animation.com, which I listed on my picks for the auction, has met its reserve with a $95,000 bid. The two letter XZ.com domain name has also met its reserve following receiving a $120,000 bid. Given the buyer’s premium for these auctions, there are essentially two six figure sales by now.

There’s been a lot of activity in three letter domains as well, with OJX.com, GIU.com, PHQ.com, FFQ.com, ZQF.com, and AIE.com all hitting their reserves. AIE.com is right now $20,000 heading into tonight’s auction.

Other notable domains to hit their reserves in early bidding include BusinessPhones.com at $20,000 and DoctorateDegree.com at $10,000.
