Another CEO leaves DigitalTown

Nagy exits business three months following taking CEO role.

George Nagy has left the CEO role at DigitalTown following just three months on the job.

Nagy, who had been COO of the firm, took over for Rob Monster when he left in September. Monster is the CEO of domain name registrar Epik.

DigitalTown is relevant in the domain name industry since it owns a lot of fresh top level domains counting regarding 11,000 .city domain names. It also has marketing agreements with fresh TLD firms in which it guarantees certain purchases.

The firm creates city websites and pitches itself by combining a bunch of buzzwords like blockchain, smart cities and cryptocurrency.
