First trademark monitoring alert to domain sellers — Atom sends

Alerts can help you understand potential buyers for your domain, as well as prevent cybersquatting issues.
For a long time, Atom has sent notices to domain sellers when a domain listed on its platform has been registered in another extension. Now, with the launch of its fresh service called Trademark.io, Atom is also notifying sellers regarding trademark applications that match their domains.
The alerts identify any recently-filed trademark applications that match the domain exactly, or in which the second level domain is present inside a longer trademark.
Each alert identifies the filer and allows you to make changes to the domain listing. You can also click “View all matches on Trademark.io” to see a full list of trademarks incorporating the second level domain:

It’s worth noting that the trademark text might be part of a graphical (figurative) element.
Atom scans all Premium listings weekly, and other listings monthly (if the landers point to Atom).
It ought to go without saying, but domain investors ought to be careful using these alerts. In some cases, they could prevent cybersquatting issues by having you review the language on your page to ensure it doesn’t conflict with a trademark.
