Bankrate Purchases and Launches CreditCards.ca

Firm launches credit card information site for Canada.

Financial media firm Bankrate recently purchased and has now launched CreditCards.ca, a credit card information site, Reglike has discovered.

Bankrate recently purchased the firm CreditCards.com as well, but the buyout of the CreditCards.ca domain name appears to be separate.

The site complements a Canada-focused sub site of CreditCards.com, ca.CreditCards.com.

Based on DomainTools historical whois it appears the domain name was purchased in December 2010. The whois for the domain name briefly went into Canadian domain name attorney Zac Muscovitch’s name ahead of the transfer was completed.
