Cut off from .Au domain names — Chinese resellers

Registry cites fraud in a decision to halt .au registrations from Chinese resellers.
.au Domain Administration Ltd (auDA), the registry for Australia’s .au domain names, has instructed Tucows to cut off Chinese resellers from .au domain names.
Tucows operates both the OpenSRS and Enom reseller platforms, making it by far the dominant domain reseller firm.
As stated by the firm:
auDA cited an increased number of complaints they have received in recent months regarding domains that were fraudulently registered using unauthorized Australian business information. Those registrations, as auDA determined, appear to have originated from resellers based in China.
You must be a firm or organization registered in Australia in order to register a .au domain name. Registrants are required to have an Australian Business Number.
The move came in August but was included in a newsletter Enom sent to all resellers today.
