What domains Tinder and other end users bought the prior week
Hookup app buys name for its fresh venture arm, but ccTLDs dominate the charts.
Sedo has always been #1 when it comes to country code domain names, and this stretch is a case in point. Nine of the 16 end user sales I identified were country code domain names, and not all of these were from the firm’s .at auction. But even the .at sales were impressive; it shows that the firm was able to connect with the local market to get end users in Austria and Germany to participate in the auction. (Sedo is based in Germany.)
In addition to lots of ccTLD sales, Tinder paid $2,650 to buy SwipeVentures.com, the name of its fresh venture arm.
Here’s a list of the 16 end user domain name sales the prior week at Sedo that I was able to identify:

Innogenix.com $9,500 – The domain name is still in escrow, but I suspect this trademark applicant is the buyer.
Fabrique.com €5,000 – Fabrique BV, a design agency that uses the domain name Fabrique.nl.
Cbeam.com $3,888 – Steel Fab Inc is a steel fabricator. Google searches for CBeam bring up a plate maker.
Fussmatten.com €2,380 – I think this is some sort of photo product. It was purchased by fotopost 24.
Liebeslust.com €2,000 – Translates as “love lust” in German. The domain was purchased by Hangst Online, which owns Fancy-Dresses.de.
IB.de €10,000 – Internationaler Bund e.V., which is a sizable service provider in youth, social and educational work in Europe.
W.at €6,200 – Juwelier Wagner GmbH is a luxury jewelry and watch brand.
Platinum.tw $5,000 – PLATINUM GmbH & Co. KG is a pet food firm in Europe.
Ediths.ch €4,500 – The domain name now forwards to Ediths.at, a retailer.
US.at €3,077 – ALTON GmbH bought this domain name to promote U.S. visas.
Betting.com.ng €3,000 – BayBets Ltd bought this Nigerian domain name.
WP.at €2,760 – Weitzer Parkett GmbH & CoKG, a flooring firm, bought this acronym domain name.
SwipeVentures.com $2,650 – it looks like Tinder bought this domain.
KL.at €2,050 – Koenig und Landl GmbH is a tools firm.
POF.co.il $2,000 – Dating site Plenty of Fish bought this Israeli country code domain name.
123Movies.org $2,000 – Raphael’s Digital LTDA is framing another site called 123Movies.
