Six for sales and marketing — Donuts hires
Fresh top level domain applicant adds sales team ahead of fresh TLD launch.
Donuts, which applied for more top level domain names than any other firm, has staffed up its sales and marketing team.
The firm disclosed six hires today, at least one of which was previously known.
Sales and marketing efforts will be based in the firm’s fresh Calabasas, California (Los Angeles) office.
The firm hired Bob Samuelson to as VP of Sales & Marketing. Samuelson joins from Adobe, but prior to that has been in the domain industry since at least 2001, as stated by his LinkedIn profile. From 2001 to 2010 he worked for VeriSign, and then he had short stints at Melbourne IT and Citizen Hawk.
Also joining the Calabasas office in Director roles are two ex-ICANN staffers, Michele Jourdan and Alina Syunkova.
The firm hired two people in London previously with CentralNic: Amy Repp and Jenny White.
Matt Bamonte left CSC to join the firm and will work out of Wilmington, Delaware.
