Domain name sales up to $265,000 — End user

Two domains used for Indian Premier League-related sites recently sold.

Sedo’s top public sale this stretch was a shocking six figure .co sale: cv.co. It’s unclear who purchased the domain.

It was difficult to find a lot of end user sales in this stretch’s list since few domains have been developed yet. So for this stretch, I’ve included some transactions that occurred a month ago for which we now know the buyer.

While searching that older list and finding a domain related to Indian Premier League, I went back and checked on the status of IPL.com, which was purchased in June. It has now been developed, so I added that one to this list.

Here’s a list of end user domain name sales that were recently completed at Sedo. You can view previous lists like this here.

IPL.com $265,000 – This domain was purchased in June by a publisher that focuses on cricket websites. This site seems to be a copy of another one of its sites, CricToday.com.

IPL .net $27,000 – This domain resolves to a site promoting betting on Indian Premier League cricket.

Saphira.com $14,788 – Saphira sells haircare products.

DecisionFlow.com $10,000 – This is a nice upgrade for Decision Flow, which offers software for manufacturing environments. It uses the domain name dflowllc.com.

AntennaGear.com $9,995 – AntennaGear, a firm that sells antennae, forwards this domain to the matching .net.

Marbil.com $7,000 – This is a defensive registration for MarBill, an online payments firm.

TheStrengthClub.com $4,888 – The domain resolves to a page with a logo for The Strength Club and a message that it’s coming soon. It also has a login, so I’m guessing it will be an online fitness club.

CyberPrepare.com $4,500 – CyberPrepare provides cyber risk assessments for organizations.

eFMC.com €3,000 – Inspiration Mobility offers electric vehicle services to businesses. FMC is an industry term for Fleet Management Firm, so here it means Electric Fleet Management Firm.

GlacierTech.com $2,999 – Glacier Tech sells commercial ice makers.

RussellShaw.com $2,988 – A designer and children’s book author by this name uses this domain for a professional website.
