User domain name sales up to $50,000 — 18 end
LVN.com sells for $50,000, and does Michael Berkens’ $75,000 purchase of Boardroom.com count?
Michael Berkens just can’t stop buying domain names.
He bought Boardroom.com on Sedo this past week; the top noted sale at the venue. Ought to we consider this an end user sale since he has plans for it? Or is he just investing more money in domains?
I’ll let him chime in if he’d like.
Boardroom.com was one of 542 domain name transactions Sedo handled, for a total of $1.5 million. Sales to end users included some three and four letter domains.
Here are some end user domain name purchases from the past week:
(You can view previous lists like this here. If you’d like to learn how to sell your domain names like these on Sedo, download this note.)
LVN.com €50,000 – Leverton GmbH offers a technology for extracting data from corporate documents. Its main web address is Leverton.de.
ITjobs.in £18,000 – This domain is still in escrow, but I’m willing to bet money the buyer is Jobs.bg.
Ruoz.com €10,000 – this looks like an end user four letter purchase to me. There’s a holding template uploaded to the domain, and the owner (someone in Germany) also owns the .org, .biz, .info and .us versions of ruoz.
Paydoo.com $9,800 – At this price, it’s surely an end user sale. The buyer is an individual in the UK.
EnergyManager.com $10,000 – Battery and solar firm Solarwatt GmbH.
Offertes.com $6,000 – lead gen firm Advanza BV. Offertes translates in French as “offered”. Offertes translates to “quotes” in Dutch.
SatioStat.com €5,000 – Based on a trademark filing, it looks like PERORA GmbH bought this through its web development firm.
QBRX.com €5,000 – Hörburger AG is starting a service call QBRX Talking Facilities, which it states will be a “revolution of building and facility management!” Looks like Internet of Things to me.
Tea.World $5,000 – At this price, I’m going to call this an end user sale. TeaWorld.com is owned by Future Media Architects, so the buyer probably discovered that Tea.world was cheaper.
SISB.com $4,990 – Singapore Internation School of Bangkok, which uses the domain SISB.ac.th.
ClubPlanner.com $4,500 – Webit offers software for health clubs called Club Planner. It promotes the software at ClubPlanner.eu.
Avstar.com $4,300 – Avstar Media provides aviation training. It bought the shorter version of its domain name AvstarMedia.com.
ArtProduction.com $3,499 – East Photographic is some sort of artists studio in London.
TechPop.com $3,000 – Digital Trends is a technology news site. Rebranding as TechPop, or will this be a fresh service/site from the group?
MiniNail.com $3,000 – The vaping firm that uses the site TheMiniNail.com.
BLVN.com $2,500 – another four letter end user purchase. BlueVine provides provides loans to firms and invoice factoring.
AdsWiki.com $2,500 – DotMedia is forwarding this domain to AdsWiki.net.
ViewTax.com $2,000 – VIEW Group AS sells ViewLedger, an online accounting and payroll service.
