Escrow.com passes $8 billion milestone, notes solid Q1

First quarter of year showed spike in domain transactions.
Escrow.com has surpassed $8 billion in handled transactions, the firm disclosed. In a Q1 market note for parent firm Freelancer Limited (ASX: FLN OTCQX: FRLCY), the firm stated it passed the milestone earlier this year.
Total domain sales in Q1 were $128 million, up nearly 20% compared to the same quarter a year ago. It’s the highest quarterly dollar volume since Q1 2023.
The firm stated domain “valuations continue to rise as firms leverage domains as a point of differentiation in the increasingly AI centric business environment.”
Escrow.com is also working on the client experience and has implemented improvements to automate backend payments. It’s also working on moving the Escrow.com front end to the Freelancer tech stack, which it hopes to complete this quarter.
