Fashion.com, Splash.com, Yeah.com and more: Gleisnner’s latest TM applications

Firms continue to file trademark applications, counting on domain names they don’t own.

Firms that list Michael Gleisnner as their officer continue to file trademark applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.

The latest batch includes three .com domain names. One has whois privacy, but the other two are definitely not owned by Gleisnner:

Fashion.com – whois privacy
Splash.com – Reflex Publishing
Yeah.com – Digimedia

In addition to these domain-names-as-TMs, firms also applied for these terms on a 44D basis:

Alpha
Blue
Deal
Seal
Melanie
Elizabeth
Charlie
Happy Hour
Chumhum (this is the name of the fictional search engine in The Good Wife)

It’s still not clear what Gleissner’s end game is. His firms continue to file objections or extensions-to-object to other firms’ trademark applications. For example, the firm has filed objections to the mark ASHLEY LEE on the basis of its Ashley mark and SARAH-VALIN BLOOM on the basis of its Sarah mark.
