Bob Parsons joins The Giving Pledge — GoDaddy founder

Bob and Renee Parsons pledge over half of their wealth to charitable causes.

GoDaddy founder Bob Parsons and his wife Renee Parsons have joined The Giving Pledge, an initiative in which wealthy people pledge to give half or more of their wealth to charity.

Parsons’ net worth is estimated at over $1 billion.

The couple has by now made a number of seven figure donations, counting to veteran causes. For example, he gave $1 million to establish The Bob Parsons Veterans Center at the University of Baltimore. Parsons is a Vietnam veteran and attended the University of Baltimore on the G.I. Bill following returning from Vietnam.
