Google Domains, switching to Domains.Google? — Google bolsters

Registrar is revving up with simple email connection, more domain options.
Google disclosed today that it’s adding features to its domain name registrar Google Domains, plus expanding the number of domain names it offers. I suspect Google is also getting ready to change the domain name the service is hosted on.
The firm is making it easier for people to set up email addresses with their fresh domain names. The registrar also now allows for transfers to other Google accounts, which is known as “pushing” a domain name in domain investing parlance.
Google Domains has also added 90 fresh domain name choices, which appear to be fresh top level domain names owned by Donuts and Rightside.
On October 1, Google registered the domain name domains.google under its fresh .google domain name. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a move to the fresh domain name — or at least a forward — introduced soon.
Google Domains is doing quite well, especially when you consider all of its marketing to date has been from PR, Adwords and very nice Google search results positions.
