“Blab” was trending in .Com last month — Here’s why

Verisign has published its top ten trending keywords in .Com last month, and #6 on the list is blab.
Blab? Yes, blab.
You might want to thank Colorado web design and social media firm Schloss Web Services for that. The firm registered dozens of domain names like PhotographyBlabTalk.com, LetsBlabJesus.com, CocktailHourBlab.com and IntroductiontoBlab.com. I wonder if this is related to Blab.im?
As for Storage being #3 on the list, you can thank a German firm for that.
RollsRein, a self storage firm in Germany, registered regarding 250 .com domain names related to storage units on October 15. Most of these take the form of SelfStorageUnits[U.S. City].com, such as SelfStorageUnitsSeattle.com, SelfStorageUnitsTempe.com and SelfStorageUnitsMiami.com.
Self Storage is a huge business. One of my favorite domains I got during the .Miami launch was SelfStorage.miami. Despite the annual premium, it’s a great domain.
