Filed against MicroStrategy’s Glory.com domain — Cybersquatting complaint

MicroStrategy owns some very valuable domain names. One firm is jealous of Glory.com.
A firm called Glory Ltd has filed a cybersquatting complaint against MicroStrategy over the domain name Glory.com.
Glory Ltd is a fairly generic firm name, so I don’t know with certainty which firm filed it. But when you search google for the name, a publicly traded automated vending machine firm in Japan pops up. It uses the domain name Glory.co.jp.
MicroStrategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) is a $1.5 billion market cap technology firm that owns a vast portfolio of great .com domain names. This has sometimes drawn the ire of firms wanting to get their hands on these domains. Back in 2011, email marketing firm Emma filed a lawsuit to try to get the Emma.com domain name. The marketing firm uses the domain MyEmma.com. MicroStrategy had owned Emma.com since the 90s, so you won’t be surprised to learn that it still owns the domain despite the lawsuit and Emma still uses MyEmma.com.
A DomainTools reverse Whois lookup reveals that Microstrategy owns these valuable domain names:
