Mogul upgrades from .club to Mogul.com for $1.3 million: Domain-maxxing

Firm expects return from all-cash deal in 6-12 months.

Real estate crowdfunding platform Mogul has upgraded its domain name in a big way.
The firm has moved from mogul.club to mogul.com.
It paid $1.3 million for the upgrade. Seller Braden Pollock confirmed to Reglike that it was an all-cash transaction and stated it closed last month.
“As Mogul has grown, we knew our online presence needed to match the scale of what we’re building,” Mogul CEO Alex Blackwood stated in a statement sent to Reglike. “More than 50,000 investors have found us at Mogul.club. We can only imagine how many more would have found us, and how many more will continue to find us, with Mogul.com.”
Blackwood called the buyout domain-maxxing: “owning the clean, premium .com domain for your firm that people instinctively trust and remember.”
Hey, it beats looks-maxxing.
The firm thinks the domain will pay for itself in just 6-12 months.
