What domains the NBA and 15 others bought this stretch

The NBA is among the end user buyers on Sedo the prior week.

Sedo had a pretty good week the prior week for selling domains to end users.

A key highlight is the NBA, which bought a .in domain for just shy of $5,000. Here’s the list:

Swiss firm PUBLICS bought Publics.ch for EUR 850. Its main web site is PublicsPartner.ch, so this is a big improvement. I wonder if it’s also the firm that paid EUR 15,000 for Partners.eu, which is still in escrow.

UK ISP Onwave bought SatelliteBroadband.co.uk for EUR 8,350.

IT firm Richard Fleischman Associates bought RPAM.com for $5,000. I couldn’t find an obvious use.

Office machines firm Office Partner GmbH bought Office-Partner.com to match its Office-Partner.de domain name. Price: EUR 700.

The NBA (National Basketball Association) bought NBA.co.in (India ccTLD) for $4,999.

TheMultiBizGroup Ltd, which runs MultiLotto.com, bought StreetLotto.com for $1,795.

The Sewing Arts Center in Santa Monica shortened its web address from SewingArtsCenter.com to SewingArts.com for $2,000.

Talk regarding an notable domain upgrade…the owner of Tutorz.co.nz bought Tutors.co.nz for $1,250.

World Institute of Pain in North Carolina bought Pain360.com for $2,750.

Wright Patt Credit Union, which owns WPCU.coop, bought WPCU.net for $3,500. The .com is owned by another credit union.

Austin oil and gas technology firm DrillingInfo owns DrillingInfo.com and just bought Drilling.info for EUR 1,700.

Snail Games USA owns SnailGamesUSA.com and just picked up SnailGame.com for $2,500. It doesn’t own the plural version.

American Freight owns AmericanFreight.us and just shelled out $15,000 for the matching .com.

Staffing firm HireVergence bought ChannelJobs.com for $1,000.

The College Board, the non-profit that administers the SATs and AP Tests, bought APScores.com for EUR 1,488.

It’s great to see firms with names that don’t pass the “radio test” correcting the problem with domain purchases. Xist Fitness bought the domain ExistFit.com for $2,250, which is key to catch traffic from its existing XistFit.com domain.
