Fresh TLD auction prices hitting highs: Minds + Machines, Uniregistry, Donuts all win some domains

Average purchase prices may be north of $3 million.

AuctionBy all accounts, registries paid much more to settle contention sets during the prior week’s private auctions than in previous ones.

Minds + Machines won auctions for .garden and .yoga. It spent a net $5.97 million for the two domains once the proceeds of losing the .deals and .property private auctions and withdrawing the applications are taken into account.

That means it paid much more than $6 million to win auctions for just two top level domain names. Wow.

Granted, each of these auctions involved three or more parties. Many of the early auctions had just two parties.

Minds + Machines beat Donuts and Uniregistry in both of the auctions it won.

Uniregistry won contention sets for .property, .click and .hosting.

Donuts won auctions for .deals, .world and .city.
