The most expensive domain name to have by now hit its reserve is OCB.com, which has a current bid of $25,000. There are four additional three letter .com domain names, but none have hit their reserve yet.

Decadent.com has met its reserve at $4,999. This is a great domain name with brandable potential for a food or luxury firm.

The most expensive domain name in the auction is Wines.com, which has a reserve between $1-$1.5 million. Odds are it won’t sell in the auction, but it will give the domain name some added exposure. (Wines.com sold for $2.9 million in 2004, as stated by NameBio.com.)

I also like Cellars.com for its wine connotation. The reserve is below $10,000.
