And Iraq.com hit auction block next month — Paradise.com, Holiday.com

Valuable domain names go up for sale next month.

For a firm I hadn’t heard of ahead of it disclosed it was auctioning Holiday.com a couple months ago, Breathe Luxury has assembled an impressive list of domain names for its auction next month.

The firm will auction off dozens of domain names in conjunction with the World Travel Market conference in London November 5. Among the domain names for sale:

• Holiday.com
• Paradise.com
• Journey.com
• Iraq.com
• Kuwait.com
• Doha.com
• Arab.com
• GolfCourses.com
• NAS.com

Most of these domains are worth six figures, and some might even fetch seven figures. Whether or not the auction will be a success depends a lot on what the reserves are. With organizers putting out a press release suggesting Holiday.com might sell for more than 20 million GBP, I wouldn’t get my hopes up that the reserves are anywhere close to reasonable.

For those people uncomfortable bidding with a firm you’ve never heard of, the good news out today is that Escrow.com will be handling transactions.
