Leah Sweet joins GoDaddy board — PayPal SVP

Sweet replaces Silver Lake co-CEO Mondre.

Leah Sweet, right now Senior Vice President at PayPal, has joined GoDaddy’s (NYSE: GDDY) board of directors.

She is replacing Greg Mondre, who resigned to spend more time on his fresh role as co-CEO of Silver Lake. Silver Lake was one of three private equity firms that purchased GoDaddy in 2011.

Sweet is responsible for global design, delivery and operations at PayPal (NASDAQ: PYPL). She worked for CA Technologies prior to joining PayPal in 2011.

With Sweet, the GoDaddy board of directors now has two women directors out of nine seats.
