Expiry stream to GoDaddy Auctions — PorkBun moves

It’s one of at least a dozen registrars that use GoDaddy to auction off expired domains.

Picture of clock with words "expired domains"

While reviewing expired domains at GoDaddy this stretch, I noticed that PorkBun has moved its expiry domains to GoDaddy Auctions.

PorkBun is a relatively modest registrar but is growing quickly. It previously sent its expired domains to Dynadot, which has its own expired domain auction platform.

PorkBun founder Ray King knows a thing or two regarding expired domains. He was a co-founder of SnapNames, which he left ahead of it was later sold to Oversee.net.

If you’re keeping score at home, here are some of the (non-Godaddy-owned) registrars that send their expired domains to GoDaddy Auctions:

Annulet
Bigrock
Domain.com
DomainSite
Enom
FastDomain
GMO
Key-Systems
Moniker
Name.com
PDR
Tucows
