Joiner buys CMOJobs.com from IDG — Recruiter Harry

Joiner adds to his collection of valuable job domain names.

Harry Joiner, who has purchased a number of job related domain names to help his recruiting business, has purchased CMOJobs.com from media giant IDG for a five figure pricetag.

Joiner told Reglike he used a few brokers to try to acquire the domain name. Acquiring a domain name from a sizable firm is never easy and the first couple brokers were unsuccessful.

Then he received a fortuitous call from Colleen Kling at BrokerageFirm.com. Kling stated she had a buyer for one of Joiner’s domain names. Although Joiner wasn’t interested in selling the domain, he did tell Kling regarding his interest in CMOJobs.com.

“She was able to get the domain quickly and at a reasonable price,” Joiner stated.

Joiner also recently purchased CreativeJobs.com and AnalyticsJobs.com. His collection also includes CEOJobs.com, StartupJobs.com and eCommerceJobs.com. Joiner uses the domain name to drive leads (both firms and prospective hires) for his successful recruiting business.
