Domain broker and domain parking firm may hit milestone this quarter.

Domain name brokerage and parking firm Sedo may be celebrating a milestone this quarter for reaching one million registered users.

The firm’s first quarter financial note shows that the firm now has 962,000 registered members, up from 907,000 at the end of last year. At this pace, Sedo ought to hit the million mark sometime during Q2 2009. It’s unclear if these numbers include fresh registrations that were part of Sedo’s buyout of RevenueDirect.

Although registered users and domains keep increasing, the firm continues to face pressure from changes in the domain parking business. Revenue for the first quarter came in at EUR 11.9M, down from EUR 12.3M in Q4 2008 and from 15.0M in Q1 2008. Still, this modest quarter-to-quarter decrease suggests that the bottom may be near.
