Name Auctions Going On Right Now — Three Domain

Lots of domain name auction action going on.

There are three live domain name auctions going on right now:

First, the Domain Madness 2 extended auction ends this afternoon. A number of domain names by now have bids counting Autorespond.com ($4,000), CustomChopper.com ($7,000), and Experimenting.com ($2,000).

SnapNames has a Spring Auction with no reserves running now through April 8. Bidding starts at $300 per domain. Among the interesting domains are AdvertisingDeals.com, LocalPromotion.com, and ClickConversion.com.

Sedo is running a .tv domain auction that also ends April 8. The top bid so far is Business.tv at $4,000. Other domains to meet their reserves include Germany.tv, Japan.tv, and Jobs.tv. It will be interesting to see how this auction goes given that VeriSign just dropped the price on thousands of premium .tv domain names. It certainly lowered the floor for this auction and reduced the amount of capital available to invest. Conversely, the move also sparked renewed interest in .tv.
