CcTLDs end users bought — Twenty-eight European
A butcher restaurant, a crypto platform, and a skincare business bought domain names at Nameshift.
Nameshift is a domain sales platform with 1.5 million domain names. Most of its domains are European ccTLDs, so its data is worth reviewing.
The firm shared its last few months of sales data with me so I could see what end users in Europe are buying. I reviewed the disclosed sales up to €1,500 to create this end user list.

Butchery.de €15,000 – It appears the buyer is the meat store behind the domain butchery.nl.
MotorPartsDirect.co.uk €8,743 – This is an notable upgrade for Motor Parts Direct, which uses the domain name MPDonline.co.uk.
KBW.nl €7,500 – KBW is short for Kompas Begeleiding & Wonen. The last two words translate to guidance & living. The firm provides guidance and support to people dealing with addiction, probation, etc. It forwards this short domain to kompaszorgverlening.nl.
HVS.eu €7,500 – HVS International sells herbs, vegetables, and spices.
Send.fi €5,000 – Send.fi is a cryptocurrency platform.
Harbour.de €3,995 – Harbour is an AI consulting firm in Germany.
FOL.fr €3,800 – FOL translates to crazy in French. This will be a luxury agriculture firm.
RenTree.nl €3,500 – This domain forwards to rentree.nu. It’s a tenant portal for the landlord Rentree.
Aesthetics.nl €2,500 – This domain is used by a skincare business in the Netherlands.
Andis.de €2,500 – Andis is a US firm that sells hair clippers. It owns the matching .com.
ONC.se €2,350 – ONC AB is an investment firm.
MotorVakantie.nl €2,200 – This domain translates to motorcycle holiday. It offers motorcycle vacations.
Reiki.fr €2,000 – This domain forwards to the .eu version of the domain. It’s for a reiki training business in Geneva.
CJC.se €2,000 – C.C. Jensen helps firms clean and filter their oil.
PlanetAI.de €2,000 – Planet AI offers AI document solutions. The German firm uses the domain planet-ai.com.
Valentino.de €2,000 – Valentino is a fashion clothing firm. It uses the matching .com domain name.
ReifenNotdienst.de €1,995 – This domain translates to tire emergency service. Ottomobile Mobiler Reifenservice Mustafa Cörtük, a mobile tire service firm, is listed as the registrant.
Vivar.ch €1,995 – Vivar is an ecommerce firm with a varied product line.
Respond.de €1,790 – I’m unsure why Ecotree SAS, which sells carbon credits and tree planting for the environment, bought this domain.
Monograph.de €1,790 – LERROS Moden GmbH is a clothing store in Germany. I can’t find a connection to this brand.
Meine-Auskunft.de €1,790 – This domain forwards to Auskunft.de. Alpha Neun GmbH & Co. KG uses the domain for a business directory.
BlueScale.co.uk €1,751 – BlueScale is a consulting firm that helps financial businesses.
VitaHealth.nl €1,500 – VitaHealth is a biomarker testing firm.
FollowTheMoney.eu €1,500 – Follow The Money is an investigative news outlet. It uses the domain FTM.eu.
Beag.de €1,500 – Bewerk is a property management firm for commercial spaces.
JongerenTravel.nl €1,500 – This domain translates to youth travel. It organizes trips for youth.
Joan.nl €1,500 – Joan Gallery is an art gallery in Amsterdam.
Rippa.de €1,500 – Pronk Machinery, which sells generators, is the official Dutch importer and dealer for RIPPA construction machinery.
