GoDaddy and Afternic sold $1.36 million worth of aftermarket domain names during the Fresh Years week of 12/30/13-1/5/14. Below are some of the domain names that were purchased by end users, counting diamond firm De Beers.

DragonCoin.com $1,199 – OC Gold, and Orange County gold and silver dealer
360eye.com $12,500 – Enerfund, a private equity fund. I assume its for a portfolio business.
Uber.org $36,000 – this domain hasn’t change hands yet, but there’s a good chance its the car service Uber.
ScaleFactor.com $1,995 – ScaleFactor Partners, LLC, which appears to be a fresh firm in Austin.
FantasySpin.com $1,000 – FootballNation.com, which is led by Andrew Miller (Internet Real Estate Group, Chocolate.com, CreditCards.com, etc).
SOMS.org $1,000 – So Others May See, Inc., a group that helps the poor in Sri Lanka get eyeglasses.
ScienceandBeauty.com $2,356 – Elle UK Limited, seller of “luxury legwear”.
Broadway-Tickets.org $1,199 – The Shubert Organization, a professional theatre firm.
Performin.com $1,474 – Click Perform, a UK internet marketing firm that’s just getting off the ground.
WestviewEstates.com $1,000 – Realty360.com, LLC, a real estate firm.
BizLender.net $1,588 – VMCCapital.com, a modest business lender. (They don’t own the .com.)
MixedCocktails.com $1,040 – Josh Bourne of Fairwinds Partners either bought this for himself or a client.
GetClick.com $2,800 – Internet Marketing Strategy, a firm that uses a (fairly rare) .cat domain name, InternetExperts.cat.
MoneyOneFCU.com $1,877 – Money One Federal Credit Union
TruShield.com $1,000 – insurance firm CommonWeath Insurance.
PackagingPrinters.com $1,588 – Document Security Systems (DSS), which offers packaging solutions.
JesusLive.org $1,000 – Discovery Productions, Inc., a religious media firm.
AmericanTowman.com $1,050 – American Towman Standards Authority, Inc., better known as American Towman, a car towing industry group. They by now own Towman.com.
PrecisionCutting.com $4,478 – Precision Flame in Louisiana.
ForYouForever.com $2,300 – Diamond firm De Beers. This name is for its customized engagement ring service.
TechDirect.com $3,077 – Singapore networking equipment firm TechDirect, which uses TechDirect.sg.
