Of domains are selling for under $1,000? — What kind

Some are obvious — but the delineation between under $1,000 and $3,000 is quite modest.

When Afternic sends its weekly sales notes it omits domains that sold for under $1,000. Yet understanding which types of domains are selling for three figures can be valuable for domain investors.

Thankfully, Afternic’s updated web site shares a selection of domain sales from all price ranges.

Here are some observations following sorting through some of the sub-$1,000 domains.

1. Good keyword .biz domains are selling in this range:

2. “Low value” ccTLDs also sell for < $1,000: cc.la $477 hotels.gs $450 3. In other cases, the domains could have just as easily sold for $1k-$3k.
