User domain name sales from the past week — 11 end

A “cold chain” firm and beauty products seller bought domain names this past week.

Many of Sedo’s domain name sales from the past week are still in escrow or are using Whois privacy, so I have a limited list of end-user sales for this stretch. The usual trend applies: firms that own a domain in one extension picking up the same second level domain in another extension.

Here’s the list…

(You can view previous lists like this here.)

Podia.com $9,500 – serial entrepreneur Spencer Fry.

ChaaS.com €7,500 – Controlant is a cold chain firm (it helps keep things refrigerated in the supply chain). CHaaS stands for “Cold-Chain as a Service”.

Ready.es €6,050 – Clarke, Modet and Co is an intellectual property firm. It likely bought this domain for a client.

Anthill.com £3,500 – Anthill Inc is a web development shop in Kentucky that uses the domain name Anthill.net. It got a great price on this domain.

Objectflor.com €3,500 – objectflor Art & Design Belags GmbH in Germany got the .com to go along with its .de domain name.

SolarCamera.com $3,200 – The buyer’s name matches the CEO of a firm called King Solarman, which develops solar energy products.

Anvol.com $3,000 – CSC purchased this domain name for a client.

Thandi.com $2,900 – This is a personal name, purchased by a guy whose last name in Thandi.

Grandel.online $2,800 – Dr. Grandel GmbH, a beauty products firm, bought the .online to go with its .de.

GoGoMovies.com $2,499 – GDC Technology Limited manufactures cinema servers.

Eagleview.co.uk $2,000 – The domain is registered to a lawyer in Oklahoma, but apparently on behalf of a European firm that provides software for designing roofs.
