Its stake in MMX — Afilias sells

Afilias USA exits its position in fresh top level domain firm.

Domain name registry Afilias has sold its stake in top level domain name firm MMX (London AIM: MMX), also known as Minds + Machines.
The firm exited its 3.16% position in the firm yesterday, as stated by a regulatory filing. This coincides with a sizable share buyback by MMX.
I believe that Afilias obtained this ownership when MMX purchased ICM Registry, of which Afilias owned a stake.
The selling entity is listed as Afilias USA, Inc. It’s possible that Afilias owns shares through other entities.
A representative from Afilias declined to comment.
With a market cap of regarding £41 million, Afilias’ stake would have been worth £1.3 million.
