$4.5 million domain portfolio sale — CentralNic closes

Year-end deal will help firm hit its earnings target.

CentralNic (AIM:CNIC) has closed its largest ever premium domain sales contract, the firm noted today. The deal is worth $4.5 million.

The firm didn’t provide details regarding which domain names are included. I have reached out to the CentralNic for further comment and will update this story if I receive more information from the firm.

CentralNic’s most valuable domain names are two letter .com domain names that have been used to offer subdomains in the past.

The sale was necessary for the firm to meet market expectations for this year’s earnings goals, the firm noted.
