Talks to acquire Team Internet — CentralNic in

CentralNic is in advanced discussions to acquire advertising firm Team Internet.

Domain name firm CentralNic (London AIM: CNIC) is in talks to acquire Team Internet AG, the firm confirmed today.

Team Internet operates two online advertising businesses. The first is a traditional domain parking firm called ParkingCrew. The other is Tonic, which offers many types of traffic counting zero click domain traffic, email, popup and exit traffic.

CentralNic is a rollup of domain name firms with a primary focus on the registry and registrar business. Among its brands are Instra, Moniker, Hexonet, Internet.bs and the .SK registry.

The firm describes the discussions as “advanced” but cautions that it might not result in a transaction.
