DNForum owner purchases another domain forum

Meskonis hopes to revive yet another domain forum.

Helmuts Meskonis, founder of Domain Summit, has purchased the domain forum NamesLot.
The non-monetary transaction sees Meskonis’ firms providing advertising and promotional services to the seller.
Meskonis now has seven domain name forums.
It’s unsurprising if you haven’t heard of NamesLot; the forum has been inactive since 2023.
Meskonis noted that even his most notable buyout was of a stale domain forum, DNForum, and that is now much more active under his stewardship.
The only truly active forum he has purchased was AcornDomains, which focuses on the UK market.
Meskonis told Reglike his goal with NamesLot will be to differentiate it from DNForum, and he is working on a free tool for domain investors that will be based there.
