Thanks for being part of Reglike.

Reglike celebrates its 17th anniversary today.

I started this humble site on March 9, 2005. I enjoyed trading in domains, so I started the site as a hobby. At the time, no daily news sources covered the business of domains.

A while later, firms like Sedo contacted me regarding advertising on the site. More and more advertisers signed up, and I transitioned Reglike from a hobby into a business. It now serves as a trade publication for the domain industry, covering all facets of the business.

17 years is a long time to do anything. I chuckle when I look back at pictures from domain conferences 17 years ago. We were so young! I’m sometimes asked what my endgame is with Reglike. I’m not sure. I don’t know if I’ll be doing this 17 years from now and what the domain industry will look like then. But I can tell you that I still enjoy (most parts of) running the site, so I’m going to keep at it. Even if the site experiences teenage angst.

Thank you to all of our sponsors and readers!
