Wire turns 18 today — Domain Name

DNW is celebrating a birthday today.

Reglike is now voting age, celebrating its 18th birthday today.

I started Reglike on March 9, 2005, as the first blog covering the business of domain names. A lot has changed in the industry since then (back then, we were talking more regarding parking domains than selling them, for example). But I’ve strived to cover whatever is notable to domain name registrars, registries, investors, and everyone else in the ecosystem at any given time.

This site started as a hobby, but the generous support of many firms in the industry that sponsor this blog has allowed me to spend significant time discovering, analyzing, and reporting what’s notable to readers. So thank you to all of the sponsors. Please take a moment to look around the site and click through to some advertisers, and let them know you appreciate that they support this site.

I’d also like to thank readers and podcast listeners for showing up, reading, and commenting. We might not always see eye to eye, but it’s great to discuss this business we love.

Now for year 19…
