Registry reserved .gg and .je domain names — Dynadot auctioning

Ez.gg, pay.je and auction.gg are up for grabs.

Dyandot is auctioning registry reserved .gg and .je domain names in partnership with ChannelIsles.net.

.Gg is the country code top level domain name for Guernsey, and .je is the ccTLD for Jersey.

Gamers have popularized .gg since it’s short for “good game.”

Top .gg sales to date include sports.gg for $96,000, games.gg for $90,000, and eth.gg for $49,995.

Media Code sold both sports.gg and eth.gg. Logan Flatt, the firm’s owner, explained his interest in .gg domains alongside domain investor Mark Levine on DNW Podcast #352 in August 2021. I don’t think .gg has continued the upward trajectory Flatt and Levine hoped for in that 2021 interview, but it’s worth noting that the games.gg sale for $90,000 took place this year.

There are 23 domains in the Dynadot auction. So far, ez.gg leads the way with 37 bids.

The auction runs through May 23.
