Allegedly sold for $10 million in 2008, is back on the market — Fund.com, which
Firm with questionable background stated it bought domain name for $10 million in 2008.
I’ve never believed that the $10 million transaction in 2008 for Fund.com was really a $10 million sale. There were too many things that didn’t add up. And there were lots of question marks around the firm that bought it.
Now the name, which was never really put to use, is back on the market.
Igloo.com disclosed this morning that it is brokering the Fund.com domain name.
It’s a great domain name and I think financial institutions can certainly put it to use. I personally think that Funds.com, owned by Fidelity International, is a better domain name.
Fund.com isn’t worth $10 million, but I wonder how much Igloo will be able to get for it.
