Session will help progress toward universal acceptance of fresh TLDs.
Google’s developer-focused conference Google I/O kicks off tomorrow, and one of the sessions will focus on fresh TLDs.
CIO Ben Fried will lead a presentation regarding fresh top level domain names at 1PM CDTPDT on June 25. The presentation will be streamed live on the web.
Here’s the description:
Who cares regarding fresh domain names? We do. If you want happy users, then you ought to too
The first fresh generic top-level domains are coming online, from .photography to .みんな. Who cares, you say? We do. We’ll tell you how the explosion of fresh domain names means cool things for the future of the web. But it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Fresh domain names also mean fresh challenges for all of us. In fact, they’re probably by now breaking your products. Join us to find out what’s happening, get a glimpse at what’s coming, and learn what we all need to do now to prepare.
These sorts of presentations are key for moving toward universal acceptance of fresh top level domain names.
