Clock is ticking to download Dan.com data: Heads up

If you need records, now is the time to download them.

If you need any data from domain sales platform Dan.com, you have only nine more days to download it. The platform will officially be retired on June 27.

GoDaddy purchased Dan.com in 2022 for over $70 million. Since that time, it has moved most of Dan’s features into its own Afternic platform. It disabled sales on Dan.com in October last year.

While most people have moved their domains to different platforms or migrated them to Afternic, they can still log into Dan to view their data. That goes away on June 27.

So if you need records, it’s time to download them. This includes:

  • Your list of domain names
  • Domain sales records and invoices
  • Financial and tax documents
