Hexonet is shutting down; clients migrating to other Team Internet platforms

Team Internet is consolidating domain management platforms.

Team Internet Group (London AIM: TIG) is shuttering its domain name reseller platform Hexonet.
As of the end of 2024, the firm is no longer updating Hexonet other than critical security items.
Hexonet is primarily a reseller platform, and resellers will be transitioned to Team Internet’s CentralNic Reseller platform.
Retail clients will manage their domains through Moniker.
While domains will be managed elsewhere, the Hexonet registrar accreditations will still be used.
Managing fewer platforms will help Team Internet save money. It appears that part of the impetus for consolidating now is the upcoming NIS2 directive for European county code top level domains. The firm stated that EU Registry providers will make “code breaking changes” starting in March to comply with the directive.
