QuiQui.me: Horrible domain name alert

Good luck pronouncing this domain name without an explanation.

A San Francisco startup hopes to start delivering pharmacy items by drone soon. But finding the firm via word-of-mouth (or even on the app store) might be a bit challenging.

The firm’s name is pronounced Quickie, but it is using the domain name QuiQui.me.

Qui is pronounced two different two different ways in the same name. That means firm representatives are going to have to do a lot of explaining when they tell people regarding the firm.

It’s so odd that the firm includes the pronunciation in its logo (see image).

You’ve heard for years that firms have resorted to weird spellings since all the good .com’s are taken. I guess people will start arguing all the good .me’s are taken, too.
