For in-person meetup this year — ICA hopes

I’m hopeful that in-person domain name industry events can reconvene sometime this year. Internet Commerce Association, a trade group for domain name owners, is trying to make one happen.

The organization sent a survey to its members today asking if they’d consider attending an in-person meetup this year. It’s targeting September 19-20 for the event but has asked members if other days would work better.

That ought to be enough time for any adult living in the U.S. to be vaccinated.

ICA is pitching four possible locations: Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami and Oklahoma City. (I imagine the latter is on the list since it’s the home of Digimedia.) Members can suggest other locations in the survey.

Members are encouraged to check their email for a link to the survey.
