ICANN has formally canceled its in-person Policy Forum scheduled for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in June, due to Covid-19. It will hold the event online instead.

The non-profit held its meeting scheduled for Cancun this past March online, too. Reviews of the online event were generally good given the circumstances.

Following the Policy Forum, the Annual General Meeting is slated to take place in Hamburg in October. That meeting, as well as a “return” to Cancun in March of next year, ought to be considered tentative at this point.

In other words, make sure your travel arrangements are refundable.
