Jumbo mortgage domain names bump the term Jumbo to the #1 spot.

The word “Jumbo” was the top trending word in fresh .com registrations last month as stated by a note issued by .com registry Verisign today.

It appears the jump in interest in domains with jumbo in them was driven by one registrant: Beverly Hills Estate Group. The firm registered lots of geographic domain names for jumbo mortgages.

Keep in mind that the top trending keyword is not the most common keyword. Instead, it’s a measure of the biggest jump in registrations counting a specific term from one month to the next.
