Kurt Pritz joins Allegravita

Former ICANN executive teams up with China consultancy.

kurt-pritzKurt Pritz has joined Allegravita, a consulting firm led by Simon Cousins that helps firms in the Chinese market.

Pritz held a number of positions at ICANN from 2003-2013, counting overseeing the fresh top level domain name program. Following leaving ICANN, he was executive director of the Domain Name Association. He left that role last year.

Domain Name Association is a client of Allegravita, which is where Allegravita and Pritz became acquainted with each other.

Allegrativa has significantly grown its roster of domain name clients over the past twelve months. The firm is helping them navigate the challenging waters necessary for Chinese residents to use their domain names.

Pritz will serve as Director Strategic Planning and Policy.
