Name sells for $1.2 million — MM.com domain

Two letter domain name sells for $1.2 million. No, it wasn’t bought by a candy firm.
Sedo domain name broker Dave Evanson just posted on Facebook that he has brokered the sale of MM.com for $1.2 million.

The whois record recently updated to show Hangzhou Duomai E-Commerce Co., Ltd as the fresh owner. I believe that’s the firm behind Chinese domain name marketplace 4.cn.
The firm also owns Game.com, JZ.com and a bunch of number domain names.
The most recent public whois record prior to the sale was Minnesota MicroNet, which is likely the seller.
It’s been a while since Sedo has publicly noted a seven figure domain name sale. Congrats to all parties involved.
