More Domain Name Firms that are Hiring

More job opportunities at domain name firms.

Yesterday I wrote the first post regarding domain name firms that are hiring. With so many domain firms in growth mode, here’s a look at other opportunities.

Go Daddy – With 2,500 employees, Go Daddy is by far the biggest domain name firm, and its hiring plans match its status. Go Daddy Vice President of Human Resources Lane Jarvis states the firm has 100 positions it’s right now trying to fill.

The positions range from technical (.NET developers, Linux, PHP, etc.) to marketing, accounting, and client support. The jobs are located in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Tempe, Denver and Hiawatha, IA

As a big firm (at least by domain industry standards), Go Daddy offers a full slate of benefits counting free health insurance, maternity/paternity leave, 3 weeks vacation in the first year (plus 2 personal days and holidays), tuition reimbursement, and adoption assistance.

You can find out regarding working at Go Daddy and see current openings at www.GoDaddy.jobs.

Oversee.net – Oversee.net, parent firm of DomainSponsor, SnapNames, and Moniker, is also looking to hire. The firm has regarding 15 open positions listed on its web site. Most are based in L.A. but others are in Florida (where Moniker is based) and Portland, OR (home of SnapNames).

Tucows – For our Canadian readers, take a look at Tucows. The firm has a handful of technical positions available mostly in Toronto. Working for Tucows has a number of benefits, and employees start with three weeks vacation and ten personal days.

Sedo – if you’re interested in working with one of the biggest domain brokerage and parking firms, consider a role as Sales Consultant for Sedo North America. Applicants ought to have 3-5 years of outside sales, brokerage, consultancy or advertising sales experience. Here’s the job rec:

“The Sales Consultant is responsible for driving fresh business across all critical product areas while establishing high-level relationships with key decision makers and ensuring both growth and long term client satisfaction. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated ability to drive fresh business, develop and leverage a strong client network, and deliver repeatable and consistent business offerings with a focus on quality, creativity, and integrity.”
